GLENN MCCOY
Coach McCoy has been coaching softball for over 20 years and has been the director of Softball at Pinnacle Sports for the past 4 years. He has coached 8 ASA Fastpitch Softball State Championship teams, 4 teams finished ranked among the ASA Top Ten. While coaching at St. Vincent St. Mary HS in 2005 he won the District Championship. Currently Coach McCoy is the Head Softball Coach at Copley HS. He has compiled a 106-25 record in five seasons as a Head High School Softball Coach.
TRACEE MCCOY
Coach McCoy was standout at Ellet High School where she was among the best players in the state throughout her career. She was a three time All-Ohio performer and was Cleveland Plain Dealer and Akron City Player of the Year as a senior. She continued to play Softball at the University of Akron where she was a four-year letterwinner. McCoy earned second-team All-MAC honors as a freshman & first-team All-MAC honors her junior and senior year. She ranks among the top-10 on the Akron all-time single season list for Home runs and RBI totals her senior year. She ranks third on the MAC career Home Run list. After college she played professionally for 4 years with the Akron Racers.
SARA ZILLES
Coach Zilles played softball at North Hill HS in Pennsylvania where she was the first ever 4 time all league selection. She played every inning of every game during her High School career. Coach Zilles played at the University of Akron after High School. At Akron she was a four year starter and played in all 216 games in her career. After college she played professionally for the Akron Racers.
JANA JENKINS
Coach Jenkins played softball at Edison High School in Richmond Ohio. She continued her softball career at the University of Akron where she set the record for career stolen bases with 92. Coach Jenkins ranks 8th all time on the MAC career stolen base list. During her senior year she was 1st team All-MAC & 1st team All Great Lakes selection. She was drafted by the Akron Racers where she played two seasons.
JULIE BOYES
Coach Boyes was a four-year MVP for Lake High School where she helped lead them to the 2005 Division I state championship and second place finish in 2004. She was the Federal League Player of the Year & Ohio High School Pitcher of the Year in 2005. After High School Coach Boyes played at the University of Akron where she was named to the All-Freshman team & was selected 2nd team all MAC in 2006. She is the current head coach at Lake High School.
JACLYN SPIRTOS
Coach Spirtos was the Medina County MVP as a sophomore and was selected 2nd team All-State her senior year at Highland High School. She played 4 years at the University of Akron where she started all 51 behind the plate as a Freshman and was selected Akrons Freshman of the year. As a senior she was an Academic All-American. Coach Spirtos is the current head coach at Aurora High School.
